By Working Together
My History
I have been refinishing professionally for about 20 years. I finished an apprenticeship after training under some of the best finishers in the south. Unfortunately , two of the best ones have left us, however, I do have some very solid references at the present and are available upon request.
I have dedicated much of my time, to the science of the finishing products as well as the process. I believe, knowing your products is extremely important in achieving the patina that these old radios deserve. And I didn't learn that process overnight. In fact , it was just about five years ago, that I finally locked in on the right materials for the task. And the fun part is the learning never ends.
If anyone tells you they can produce a perfect finish,... well they probably tell a good story, as well. Our learning experience will end the day we leave this world.
This business is all about our dreams for the future. The many great things we are presently working on at this time, is a reflection of those dreams come true.
This business is strengthened by the passion for history and the knowledge we have obtained in the past.
Below are some of my accomplishments in the more recent years of radio.
I hope you will enjoy this journey, ...there is much more to see,.on the site and in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to review.
There is a tremendous amount of enjoyment to be experienced in restoration, duplication and refinishing. To restore an old 30s wood radio, listen to it play and admire the beauty and design of that era, is without a doubt,...the ultimate reward !
